New YouTube Channel Up and Running!

Here is a glimpse of some of the videos that have been uploaded on the Behrend Soccer YouTube Channel. This video is from the Penn State Behrend Women's  3-2 victory over Mount Aloysius in Overtime. Goals were scored by Abbie Schuster, Valerie Wagner, and Julia Schroeck. Check out the youtube channel and the goals from each game this season! Team Bowling

To end our spring season we went bowling as a group. It provided a good opportunity for the players to spend time together away from the soccer field.
Best bowler award went to freshmen Tara Krzysiak!!

More Construction Underway!

The stadium has come a long way since the women last played a game on the turf in the 2012 AMCC Championship. The lights are working, the stands are finished, and the scoreboard is fully-functioning. The concession stand and bathrooms will ready in time for the Herb Lauffer Memorial this fall. The women will be scrimmaging against strong Mercyhurst and Northern Steel sides this weekend. Feel free to come up to cheer on the Penn State Behrend Women and check out the progress that the stadium has made. Here are some of the pictures of what will be the bathrooms and concession stand:

2013 Penn State Behrend Women’s Soccer ID Clinic

Penn State Behrend Head Women’s Soccer Coach Patrick O’Driscoll will be holding the program’s first ID clinic for high school soccer players interested in playing at the next level. The ID clinic will be hosted at the new Penn State Behrend soccer stadium. Coach O’Driscoll will be running two, one-day sessions to expose prospective student-athletes to college-level soccer training. The dates are set for Sunday, June 23^rd and Saturday, July 27^th. Players will become familiar with the technical and tactical sides of soccer that produced back-to-back conference titles and automatic bids into the NCAA Tournament for the Penn State Behrend women in 2011 and 2012.
