Lonas Keeps Lions Rolling

The Lions kept their winning streak rolling following their win against Pitt-Greensburg this past weekend. PSB netted three in the first half putting the Bobcats on their heels. The fourth goal was netted in the 65th minute to seal the game.

Ally Lonas scored the first two goals of the game in the 13th and 35th minute of play. Those two goals gave Lonas four goals on the season. Amanda Donohue would go on to score her first conference goal of the season to give the Lions some insurance going into the second half. Amanda skinned two Pitt-Greensburg defenders until taking a shot on net that flew by the Bobcats goalie.

Throughout the second half PSB kept Pitt-Greensburg away from Taylor Troyan, with the SOG recording 29 for PSB and only 3 for the Bobcats. This SOG differential would lead to yet another shutout by Penn State Behrend, the teams eight on the season. Ally Lonas wouldn't stop scoring in the second half, she netted a third to record the first hat trick of the season for the Lions. Ally's third goal of the game gave PSB a 4-0 lead with only 25 minutes left in regular time and ending any hope for a Greensburg comeback.

The Lions looks to top D'Youville tomorrow away at 5:00pm.
